Canon Digital Camera Cases
Bad luck happens to the best of us, and there are countless ways your camera getting wet May. In my case, I once left dropped my camera into a river while kayaking. If your device can not wet, but there are certain things you can do to increase the chances that remain functional. This is a collection of information that I found during the search I did after my camera has is wet.
Once your device does get wet, immediately remove the battery and memory card. These will be easier than the two things to save, even if the camera is toast. Now, if you drop the camera in salt water, it is probably better to flush the system in fresh water (preferably distilled) to remove all salt. If you have silica packets (often found in the packaging of many current products) has bagged these with the camera, because they work hard to absorb moisture. If you do not silica, even Rice will work the same way to control humidity and eliminate moisture. You can also remove the case from the camera photo if you want and let air dry or use a hairdryer on the lowest setting. Whatever you do, do not turn the device until you are positive all the moisture is out of the camera. It is best to do a thorough job of drying light it with water left inside will probably FRY circuits. Once you are able, you should also call a store of cameras and ask them to local councils, and they may want to take a look.
Another method you can try, as suggested one of my friends is to rinse the device in distilled water, hang to dry and then wrap it in some socks and duct stick it inside a machine for drying. After running the dryer for a few hours, the moisture must be completely removed. My friend claims that operated in the past on a cell phone.
Doing these things may not make your camera to life, but early action can improve the chances of your camera is working again!
