As the first digital SLR to its online film to support the capture, the Nikon D90 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera offers some significant improvements compared to its predecessors. There are also additions to shooting controls, including an expansion of settings Active D-Lighting, nine slots for the parameters of image control custom which can be downloaded from the program Capture NX 2 raw processing and advanced modes which include Picture Controls and D-Lighting assets (which can automatically switch the program to slow shutter speeds when it detects a target VR is used).

In terms of performance The Nikon D90 DX significantly improves on the D80. Nikon has added a 11-point AF 3D-tracking mode of making the camera feel unusually sensitive to its class. For all but in burst mode, it is almost as fast as the D300, and an all around faster. With a power up and fire at the time of 0.2 seconds and a shift from to 0.4 seconds, the device is quick and responsive. The 11-point AF 3D-tracking mode works well, but does not handle unpredictable movements very well. However, when the general movement is involved, it is spot on. Overall, the Nikon D90 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera is an ultra fast device that is both extremely pleasant to use and gives rise to beautiful images which makes it a great deal for its price.
