Here is a story that was originally founded in fact and is rapidly becoming an urban legend. It is interesting to relate in a way as factual as possible before word of mouth turns these guys in ninja teenage superhero.
The story as I was told a handful of people from different backgrounds decided that the time had come to better their lot in life to become operators. The only thing they all shared in common was that trading was something none of them had ever tried before. Soon the group was to become known as traders turtles.
Individuals included in the group were of professional card players, a clerk, an accountant, an actor, a security guard and a young man who had never been employed.
They were all there as a result of a dispute between two partners, one of whom said that the successful negotiation is a skill that can be taught to a wide range of people with average intelligence levels. After 14 days of training new traders named Turtle proceeded to accumulate millions for themselves by trading in markets. They owe their success to the principles of negotiation they learned from their mentor, a man named Richard Dennis.
The methods of negotiation Dennis taught his students were simple, to the point, and requires few indicators to predict likely trends. Dennis understood ahead of time that complicated methods do not necessarily superior results just because the methods are complicated. Turtle traders learned to keep the right frame of mind at any time and this mindset combined with rigorous management practices money. Discipline, an essential feature of money management, can only come from confidence, and is better positioned to instil a deeper understanding of the unique system is used.
