Does anyone know specifics of contract photographer's rights?

I do work for a wedding photography company, but I am not an employee. I shoot on my own equipment and then turn in the pictures. From all the reading I've done, the company who paid me and I have equal rights to the ownership of those photos. I have some of them posted on my facebook, not as advertisement, just in a portfolio gallery. The pictures are not watermarked with the company's logo nor my own, but as a courtesy to the company I put their website in the caption of each image.
Am I correct in believing that I have the right to use the images just as the wedding photography company does?
Is there a specific site that would be able to put this into black & white for me?
PS-There is no written agreement between this company and myself.

As the others have said - it really depends on your contract terms and conditions.

As a general rule (in the UK at least) if you are employed then the employer owns the copyright unless otherwise agreed.
employment means that they (the company) are paying employers N.I. and deducting your tax at source (PAYE) etc.

If you are a freelance or contractor then you should have sorted this out from day one, in fact before day one.
Some companies will want you to give up your copyright others won't but will have a clause in the contract which may restrict your own useage of the images.

You need to check this and if you are in this situation in the future then ensure you check your contract before starting.

What to consider in determining the best angles in Digital Photography

Many aspects have already been said so far that is the position camera in relation to his subject when it comes to photography.

The camera, however, may be focused on the topic from various angles, which also may affect the vaccine. The three basic camera angles at eye level, high and low shots. Among the three, the two basic angles are the angle shots high and low.

Basically, the angle of the camera has an aesthetic and psychological significance when seen in the context of history. This is because the photographer can project an air of domination based on the type of angle you want to use or how you want to highlight the issue through an angle distinctive chamber.

With this, camera angle speaks only for the context in which it is located. You can \ 't assume that the photographer wanted express the concept or idea of the subject, in general, through camera angles. This is because camera angles showing only a particular point in history through dominance may want to project.

Consequently, the correct determination of the best angle will make a good image of the material, in some way or another, replicate the best views of the real scene. Note that the camera does not capture exactly how the human eye sees a particular scene. Hence, now depends on the expertise and skill of the photographer to determine the best angle to capture the best view.

There are many factors to consider in determining the best angle. Here are some of the basic and most important factors to determine the best angle when it comes to photography:

1. Point interest

This is the most basic factor that every photographer must learn to master. Photography should always have a point of interest. Here is where the story evolves.

After determining the point of interest, the camera angle will continue to emphasize the kind of drama, photographer wants to express in his shot. The idea is to draw attention to force aa readers to see the image and get its meaning.

2. Lighting

To determine the best angle, lighting becomes a deciding factor in determining the personality of the subject in focus. This shows that the personality of subject may change depending on the type of rays used in making the picture.

Indeed, camera angles may appear normal, but better define what photography is all about. Therefore, determining the best angle of photography is extremely important. About the Author

Oil Painting Classes
How important is the art school at a career in oil painting? Are teaching the art association and free classes enough?

I am learning to oil paint, and doing quite well at it. Think my work is almost good enough to sell now. I wonder, to be a very good painter, you think who needs art school? Classes are $ 600 each, and I am disabled with bipolar disorder, so do not know if I could handle the trip and having to go class regularly. Would also have many prerequisites before getting to the oil painting. Some I miss, such as composition and color theory. I think teachers could talk about some of the other as I have already graduated in mathematics from the same university and I'm sorta poor and disabled. As an alternative, there is a local arts association that offers courses for $ 150. I know that I had never taught math / geology. I also know that many of the artists are self-taught. I was gifted in math (I was doing a doctorate in geophysics prior to disability), and art seems to be the same way. I'm fooling myself without going through the same art school? Thank you!

I went to art school - Kutztown University., And although I have learned great things - the best part about taking classes art is the compassion and inspiration of their instructors and classmates! Now, the local can do so much as going to art school - trust me. While to learn new skills and have others that inspires you, local to do. In my opinion - but backed by some experience.
