How do I do with my Canon camera takes pictures faster?
although I have googled and all I'm looking for someone which has the same device as me so I can change the settings right, I have a Canon PowerShot SD990 IS. I usually use on automatic mode, if it helps. Any tips would be appreciated! Do you mean the time between pressing the shutter and actual picture is taken? Well, most p & s cameras suffer from lag shutter extended (the latter term), and yours is no exception. But there is something you can do to make it a little best to capture the moment! What you need is to pre-focus and anticipate the blow, and then take things when all are right. To do it - point your camera where you expect the measures to take place and a half-press the shutter. The camera should focus and prepare for the coup, and then give you a beep (or two, depending on model). Do not let the Go button, keep it half key until the right time, then take a shot in while pressing it down. You will notice that the photos will be taken much faster, because longer what happens when you press the button at the bottom, is developed. The cameras of p & s to use a mechanism very slow development, but there is little you can do about it is the type of technology they use. But after focusing on the way, you'll have much better chances of capturing the action! Good luck, LEM.
