Olympus C770 Tripod?

Hello, What is a good tripod for Olympus C770 digital camera? I tried a Samsonite tripod, Circuit City and my camera was badly scratched: ((So I was wondering if anyone has any information. Also, are there any other accessories if I buy a tripod not to scratch the camera? Please let me know!

The plate screws into the camera and attaches to the tripod head.They can be readily separated (hence the name) for transport and storage. Most Stands too low will leave marks on the camera after a while. I use larger professional cameras, if a small scratch on the body of little interest to me.

although I have googled and all I'm looking for someone which has the same device as me so I can change the settings right, I have a Canon PowerShot SD990 IS. Do you mean the time between pressing the shutter and actual picture is taken? Well, most p & s cameras suffer from lag shutter extended (the latter term), and yours is no exception. But there is something you can do to make it a little best to capture the moment! What you need is to pre-focus and anticipate the blow, and then take things when all are right. To do it - point your camera where you expect the measures to take place and a half-press the shutter. The camera should focus and prepare for the coup, and then give you a beep (or two, depending on model). Do not let the Go button, keep it half key until the right time, then take a shot in while pressing it down. You will notice that the photos will be taken much faster, because longer what happens when you press the button at the bottom, is developed.
