Oliver Concert

This is a British musical that made a first appearance in 1960. Its composition and the lyrics have been given by Lionel Bart. It enjoyed a long and fulfilling career that was made into a movie that was directed by Carol Reed in 1968. The theme and story of this musical is loosely based or the theme of Oliver Twist was created by Charles Dickens. This special musical debut was an adaptation of that and much more popular novel by Charles Dickens came to be among the top hits of the time step. His adaptation of the novel is what contributed to its success.
Apart from this, there have been two more musicals that were exposed Dickens about the fifties, but none was as popular or spectacular as half of the drama that was created by the story of "Oliver Twist."
