Suppose the cost function is c (x) = 150 + 15.1x. Find the profit function, and determine the number of cameras that should be sold for maximum profit. For this cause? (A) Profit x = p * (x) - c (x) ==> because the price per unit Profit = x * (95.4 - 6x) - (150 + 15.1x) Earnings =- 6x ^ 2 + 80.3x - 150 ==> profit function The idea is to multiply the no. units (X) and differentiate the equation and then set to 0 profit to get the maximum value. On the other hand, setting p (x) equal to c (x) give you the point break (minimum profit even).
