Is it possible to zoom into a still image while making a video with Final Cut Pro?

My husband and I are making a video for the daughter of the first birthday party of ours. W are using Final Cut Pro - including all other programs such as Motion, Soundtrack Pro, etc. We would like to find a way to zoom in on an image in our video - we still images that we put the music and some videos. Is it possible to do with this program? We have seen videos where he zooms or pans on a still image - please help!

Once the clip is edited in the calendar, Double-click the clip in the timeline. This will load the video (picture) in the viewer. Now, click the Motion tab. The first adjustment is Scale. If you use large images, this number is much smaller than 100, allowing you to zoom in a bit. But to create a slow zoom-in Nice (or moving image) you must add a keyframe. A keyframe is nothing more than a marker that indicates, at this time, look like this. In the property ladder just the right number is a small diamond. Click this button to add a keyframe. Now, move the indicator on the playhead to the right a bit and make the adjustments you want. This will automatically add another keyframe. Now, if you want to zoom into or out of some Part of the image you'll need to do the same thing with Adjustment Center. These keyframes can be moved in time by dragging their left or right, they can even be dragged beyond the beginning and end of the clip. This will allow you to move the image in time and clearly not stop or start. Once you get something you like, right click (or Control-click) on the clip in the timeline, choose Copy. Now You can use this effect with other clips and make small adjustments - To do this, right-click (Ctrl-click) on your next video, and choose Paste attributes, then select the items you want to paste (almost always the basic movement and perhaps other options). Type long, but I am sure this will help.
