I acknowledge that I am a fan of Canon cameras and the EOS Digital Rebel line has always been a personal favorite. The Rebel Xsi performs highlights performance more professional at a reasonable price, and is sure to please both the amateur photographer and budding professionals. Many bought the EOS XTi (400D) for so many years that Canon has been invited to introduce the next step in this line: EOS XSi (450D). In this new model, Canon does not use "digital" designation of the camera, he just called the EOS Rebel XSi or EOS 450D.
Among the improvements include a new image processor, DIGIC III (which uses the same 1D Mark III), which provides a digital-analog conversion 14-bit, autofocus improved noise reduction at high ISO and automatic correction of contrast and brightness. The new processor also lets you take pictures at 3.5 frames per second, or take 6 consecutively without interruption of high-quality photos or 45 images RAW format in JPG format. The camera can shoot remarkably high 12.2 megapixels. It also provides a new 3-inch LCD screen and a promise that your battery last 50% longer. All this without changing the form factor size.
For the first time in this type of cameras, Canon has stopped using CompactFlash memory cards - traditionally used by professionals - and began to use SD and SDHC cards, which are commonly found in models for consumer enthusiasts. The price remains the same as their predecessors: $ 800 (approximately) for the single body without lens and $ 900 (approximately) for the body on a new 18-55mm, f/3.5-5.6 optical image stabilizer. IS (Image Stabilizer) is a feature previously only available on targets professionals. This camera is available since mid-2008, and judging by all the improvements will be the best range of Canon Rebel already impressive.
